How it all began

AnP Certification was formed by Alan Matthews and Paul Francis, the senior members of staff of the Notified Body of AVT Reliability. AVT Reliability itself is still going strong but with the Brexit vote AVT could not be a Notified Body any more.

After Brexit, the members of the Noise Division went their own ways until it became clear that the UK was going to run a certification system that mirrored the EU version.

Setting up the company was easy but it took a lot of hard work to achieve the accreditation. However, here we are, a UKAS accredited Certification Body number 22103, BEIS Approved Body, number 8500.

AnP Certification can provide UK (and NI) certificates against Statutory Instrument 2001 1701, “The Noise Emission in the Environment by Equipment for use Outdoors Regulations 2001”.

We can provide certificates for all categories of equipment and we follow Schedule 9 (Internal Control of Production) or Schedule 10 (Unit Verification) for production compliance
